This is the flagship race of our event. This unique ultra-trail challenge, over an impressive distance, attracts the most daring runners for an extraordinary night-time adventure. The race starts at 7pm on 20 December 2025, immersing participants in an unforgettable experience under the festive lights and magical atmosphere of Christmas. The H.O.T. is a demanding route combining hilly roads and the Vendée countryside, and promises to push back physical and mental limits, while celebrating the spirit of sharing and solidarity during this enchanting time of year. A not-to-be-missed event for trail and challenge lovers!

Qualifying race for the Western states
Western States 100 - The Original Ultra Trail Race
Before the trail boom - there was the Western States 100-Mile Endurance Run, the race that started it all. Held annually in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California, the Western States 100 is recognised as the first 100-mile trail race in history. In 1977, the first edition of the Western States 100, only 14 runners started, and only one - Andy Gonzales - finished within the 24-hour time limit.
Qualify for the Western States: For 2027, The HOT 133Km Individual 2025 has been officially recognised as a qualifying race for the Western States. This means that runners who finish the race can take part in the Western States lottery(Organisation website here).
KM 108 - RELIEF CIRCUIT
♦S tart before 14:00: If the rider leaves the refreshment post before 14:00 (19:00 of the race), he will complete the 133 Km scheduled.
♦ Start between 14:00 and 15:05:If the rider leaves the post between 14:00 and 15:05 (time of the time barrier) then he will be directed to the relief circuit for approximately 121 Km. He will be timed and credited with 4 ITRA points.
♦ After 15:05:Afterthe time set for the barrier, the rider will not be able to continue.
From 13:00 onwards, any rider who prefers to take the short cut may inform the post captain who will make the necessary arrangements.
